Hadits lain melalui jalur Anas bin Malik juga menegaskan larangan yang sama
عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ – صلى الله عليه وسلم – نَهَى عَنِ الْقَزَعِ
Dari Ibnu Umar bahwasanya Rasulullah shallallahu alaihi wasallam melarang qoza’ (HR. Bukhari)
Ibnu Umar radhiyallahu ‘anhu menjelaskan bahwa yang dimaksud dengan qoza’ adalah:
يُحْلَقُ بَعْضُ رَأْسِ الصَّبِىِّ وَيُتْرَكُ بَعْضٌ

Rasulullah juga pernah melihat qoza’ secara langsung lalu beliau melarangnya.
رأَى رسُولُ اللهِ – صلى الله عليه وسلم – صَبِيّاً قَدْ حُلِقَ بَعْضُ شَعْرِ رَأسِهِ وَتُرِكَ بَعْضُهُ ، فَنَهَاهُمْ عَنْ ذَلِكَ ، وقال : احْلِقُوهُ كُلَّهُ ، أَوِ اتْرُكُوهُ كُلَّهُ
