Meski begitu, sampai saat ini saja, mantan kiper Persib Bandung belum mengetahui klub mana yang akan dibelanya pada musim depan. “Kalau klub mana untuk musim depan ada saja lah, tunggu saja,” jawabnya.
Markus pun tak menampik bahwa dirinya masih memiliki hasrat untuk membela Garuda Merah Putih, namun hasrat itu pilih ia pendam dan memberikan kesempatan pada kiper muda untuk unjuk gigi.
Sebelumnya, nama Markus Haris Maulana atau dikenal dengan Markus Horison ini, menjadi sensasi di sepakbola Indonesia, sempat berkibar bersama PSMS dan Timnas Indonesia di tahun 2006-2007.
